This is What Happens to Your Brain When You Learn a Foreign Language

MRI’s are becoming a lot more advanced these days. Usually when getting an MRI, you can see the various issues going on with your body. Like if you needed knee surgery, or something to that extent.
Now we can monitor someone’s brain growth with the power of learning a second language.

The Swedish MRI study showed that learning a foreign language has a visible effect on the brain. Swedish scientists have discovered that your brain increases in size while learning a foreign language with the help of brain scans to see the results. While studying young adult military recruits who have been studying a variety of languages, they were able to find different parts of the brain had developed in size. It was obvious to them that where parts of the brain that grew, were linked to how easy it was for the recruits to learn languages.

The conclusion: Learning a second language, regardless of when and where, there are an extreme amounts of benefits from learning a second language. Both in brain development, and communication within humanity. So I vote we all find a second language to learn!
